The confirmed public route
Northwell’s published new-practice guide says paystubs are accessible via myExperience. That establishes the platform to ask about, not a public URL for an individual employee’s document. A worker needs their assigned Universal ID and official sign-in route. This independent page cannot display a stub, print one on your behalf or verify what a particular payroll run contains.
If you cannot sign in, start with the account-access decision. If you can sign in but do not see the expected pay period, note the date, pay cycle and the general nature of the missing item, then contact the employer’s authorized payroll or HR route. Do not send an image of the full statement to an unverified guide publisher.

- PAY PERIOD. Read the paystub. Identify the period and line before comparing money.
- BANK ROUTE. Check the election. A saved update needs an effective payroll run.
- TAX CHOICE. Read Form W-4. The IRS form and employer processing differ.
- NEXT STEP. Use official payroll. Only authorized staff can inspect your record.

Read the dates before the amount
A paystub can show a pay period, pay date, gross earnings, deductions and net pay. It is tempting to compare the bank deposit immediately with a remembered shift, but the dates and earnings category should be checked first. An overtime amount, correction or prior-period entry may belong to a different period from the one you expected. The employer’s payroll records, not the public myExperience description, resolve a worker-specific mismatch.
The Northwell transition page describes different broad pay cycles for hourly/overtime-eligible and management/exempt employees in the featured incoming practice. A manager is named as the person who can advise an hourly worker of the applicable biweekly cycle. Those details should not be generalized into a universal date for every Northwell employee. Use your own official assignment and pay calendar.
Missing file or disputed calculation
A missing paystub after login and an incorrect-looking paystub are distinct reports. For a missing document, give payroll the pay period and your role without transmitting unnecessary bank details. For a calculation question, identify the line item and your understanding of the underlying hours or election; the employer can then compare it with its actual time and payroll data.
Do not treat an unavailable document as proof that wages were not paid, or an available document as proof that a bank transfer settled. Payroll approval, posting of the stub and bank activity can be distinct events. The direct-deposit article handles the separate payment-method question. A third-party site has no access to verify any of those records.
Keep a safe copy when you need one
If you download a stub using the official service, store it in a private place you control and use only a trusted device or network. A public computer or shared printer can expose compensation and identity information. The original platform may limit how far back a worker can browse; public Northwell pages checked here do not state a universal archive duration. Ask payroll for historical records through an approved channel when necessary.
A W-4 is a withholding election, not a copy of a paystub. To understand where Northwell says to change that election, read the W-4 guide. This publication links to public source pages and explains a reading method; it neither calculates wages nor receives employment records.
A private document deserves a private route
A paystub may include compensation, address and identifying information. A guide that asks you to upload it in order to “find” or “verify” your pay has crossed the boundary into a service it cannot perform. Use official myExperience access for the document and the employer’s payroll team for a discrepancy. If a lender or agency requests proof of income, check their legitimate process and share only what is necessary; this site does not act as a document courier.
A comparison that is actually useful
Before reporting a difference, line up the pay period shown on the stub, the pay date, hours or salary basis and the net amount. Compare like periods, not a current bank deposit with last month’s stub. If a bonus, deduction or correction appears, identify its label and ask payroll what source record controls it. Northwell’s public myExperience statement establishes where a stub is available, but not how any specific line was calculated.
If the employer issues more than one correction, preserve the dated versions or document references as permitted. A later stub may clarify an earlier entry. When seeking help, quote the period and the particular field instead of forwarding the whole statement to an unknown address. That approach protects private pay data and gives the authorized payroll team a more precise question.
