Two labels, two jobs
The Northwell practice-transition page names two destinations in myExperience: “Me” → “Journeys” → “Complete Pending Tasks” for preboarding, and “Me” → “Learning” → “Required Learning” for assigned compliance modules. Those are paths quoted from a public cohort-specific instruction. They are useful for telling a pending document step apart from a training assignment, but menus may be adapted by role, date or device.
If your message refers to a pending task, find out which queue the employer meant before concluding that nothing was assigned. A training module completion is not the same record as a preboarding task completion. One can be done while the other is still open. Keep a small personal checklist of required items and dates from your actual employer notice; do not upload screenshots of private tasks to this site.
What counts as finished
Some tasks may require a separate action outside myExperience. Northwell’s example also lists background checking, an I-9 flow and appointments. A green check on one online item does not tell you whether all pre-hire requirements have been met. The clearing team’s final notice, not an editorial website, decides whether a person is cleared to begin work.
For learning, the cited page describes ten compliance modules in its new-team-member example. That number is not a promise about every Northwell role or future course catalog. Record the exact assignment shown to you, whether the platform has captured completion and whether your employer requires additional steps. If the training view differs, ask your assigned Northwell contact before using an obsolete walkthrough found elsewhere.
When a tile is missing
A missing task can mean it has not yet been assigned, you have an account-role issue, the task lives in another system, or you are following guidance intended for a different cohort. The public page cannot distinguish these states for your account. Verify your Universal ID and that you entered from the employer-provided myExperience route, then report the exact label you were instructed to find and the screen where you looked.
Avoid redoing sensitive background or identity submissions merely because a menu looks empty. Those flows may be handled by named external vendors. The USCIS I-9 resource describes document choices, not the status of Northwell’s private I-9 case. Your preboarding specialist is the correct party to confirm whether an outside step has been received.
A useful completion note
Keep dates for offer acceptance, RMI submission, provisioning, assigned Journeys tasks and required Learning modules. Do not store passwords in that note. If there is a discrepancy, a sequence of milestones gives the employer context without exposing the private data inside a form. The point is to identify the blocking step and its owner.
Return to the preboarding timeline when you are still waiting for account creation, or the access guide when the ID already exists. For the day-one tasks of pay and benefits, choose pay setup or enrollment. This site does not monitor an employee’s task status.
Take a useful note, not a private screenshot
For an internal support request, it may be enough to quote the task label, the source message and the screen heading rather than attach a page showing sensitive details. An authorized Northwell support person can ask for more through the proper channel if needed. Also note whether the assignment belongs to Journeys or Learning. That single distinction often determines which team can investigate a missing item and prevents an applicant from treating a background-check email as a learning module.
A concrete task inventory
When an employer gives you a checklist, write each entry with the place it is expected: Journeys, Learning, an appointment or a separate vendor flow. For example, the cited Northwell page places preboarding tasks under Journeys, required modules under Learning and Form I-9 Section 1 in a separately emailed service. The inventory prevents an employee from hunting for an external form under the wrong menu.
A status such as “sent,” “opened” or “complete” can refer to different stages in different tools. Save the acknowledgment shown by the responsible official service when one exists, and ask the assigned specialist whether anything else is needed. Do not substitute a screenshot from this editorial guide for an employer completion record. The guide’s purpose is to sort the queues, not to certify a person’s clearance.
